Boer War Model 1895 Mauser in 7x57 rifle. This is a scarce Boer War rifle. Serial numbers are non-matching but the bolt is imperial proof marked which is correct for Boer rifles. Boer has strong rifling and is dark in the grooves. Wood has Boer carvings. It is very typical to see Boer rifles with similar type carvings. Wood is very good with minor nicks and dings, no cracks. Very good overall condition. A seldom-seen rifle. This is a really neat Boer war rifle.
