Description:
All original Winchester Model 42 field grade with vent rib. The rib is very faintly marked in longhand "Simmons Gun Specialties", Not stamped in block letters like the later ones. 26 inch cylinder bore barrel. 13 3/4" LOP to original thin Pachmayer red pad. This gun was given to a friend of mine when he was 13 years old by his father. He is now in his mid 70's. This Model 42 is in the exact condition that it was over 60 years ago. I don't think it has ever been taken apart. Very light signs of use. Excellent condition!!!!
