Description:
A very interesting and cool sporter based off of a WW2 Lend-Lease Savage Enfield rifle. As you can see from the pictures everything has been customized. All the work was completed by a skilled professional gunsmith and was quite expensive to have done according to the previous owner. The barrel has been shortened and a muzzle brake and sporting style front sight with a hood attached to it. The barrel is 21.5" inches long including the muzzle brake. The bore is in mint condition and is free from any pitting or erosion. The bolt handle has been changed to an extended tactical style large knob. It appears that the scope mount is a Russian Mosin type and it comes with a Nikon 2 to 4X scope mounted up. The trigger is excellent on this rifle and has been tuned when the rifle was customized. The stock is a quite nicely checkered Walnut 2 piece set. It is in excellent condition and besides the checkered pistol grip and forearm it has cooling/weight reducing vents in the forearm. The stock is also fitted with a Limbsaver recoil pad that is nicely fitted, and it has sling swivel studs installed with a British military sling attached. We were told by the previous owner that this rifle has been shot a handful of times at most and is a real tack driver. It certainly is a unique looking rifle that appears expertly built that no one else at the range will have!
