Description:
PRICE REDUCED - This is a nice example of a U.S. Colt Model 1878/1902 Double Action revolver in 45 Colt purchased by the US Government for issue to the Philippine Constabulary around 1902. It has the distinctive oversize trigger guard and elongated trigger which are unique to the Model 1902 Double Action revolver. All of the markings including, caliber, colt stamp, inspector markings, serial numbers and assembly numbers for this model are present in the correct places. The grips are not marked on the inside like the earlier 1878’s, but they are original to the gun. There is a good amount of blue on the frame and some left on the barrel in unexposed areas. There is little to no blue left on the cylinder or front and back strap of the grip frame. The grips are well worn, showing the proper amount of wear matching the gun finish, and they are solid with no cracks. I have tried to capture the markings and other general areas in the pictures for your evaluation. The single and double action features are working. If you need more pictures, etc., please email me. This firearm must be shipped to a type 01 FFL Dealer or to a holder of a C&R License. Packaging, shipping and insurance for this purchase will cost $40. Total payment for the firearm plus the amount for packaging, shipping and insurance must be paid in full, using a United States Postal Services, USPS, money order or a Cashier’s check. The money order can be obtained at your local Post Office. Email confirmation regarding the above is expected from the buyer within 72 hours of purchase. Payment is expected within 5 business days of purchase. The item will be shipped to you within 1 business day following receipt a USPS money order or 3 days for a Cashier’s check. If you send a different pay instrument ... it may take longer to clear and shipping will be delayed accordingly.
