Description:
Winchester Model 69 bolt action rifle chambered in 22 S L and LR. Barrel is 25" with a fair bore with a ring about 1/3 of the way down from the muzzle and some pitting and roughness closer to the muzzle. Metal surfaces have been reblued and retain about 95% coverage. The "69" has been partially struck making it hard to read. Stock has been sanded and refinished and the buttpad is not marked. Rifle has an interesting buckhorn style peep rear sight that may have been built by Marlin. The tail of the sight has been cutback from the ejection port, but it if it is an original it is still a nice example. It looks well built. Unmarked on the top and we haven't removed it. The front sight is a nice standard 22 stlye winchester sight but it does have a silver bead making it a little better then most. Comes with a single unmarked magazine. FFL or C&R
