Description:
This rifle is a custom swivel breech with matching 45 cal barrels. The 7/8”x22" octagonal barrels are rifled to an estimated 1:66 twist. The barrels are both browned. The finish on the barrels is somewhat uneven, but the rifling is very good. Both barrels have fixed blade front sights and elevation-adjustable open rear sights. The walnut buttstock is in good condition with no major scratches or dents. The curved buttplate, trigger guard, flash guards, lock plate, and thimbles are brass. The furniture is in good condition. Uses #11 caps on 1/4 x 28 nipples. Comes with 2, ?” “candy stripe” ramrods with 8x32 threads and a cleaning jag. Wood to metal fit is decent; there are few noticeable gaps. Length of pull is 14”, overall length is 39”, and weight is 9 lbs. Our stock number is #A260. Willing to ship anywhere in the US, buyer pays freight and insurance.
