Description:
This is a Remington rolling block rifle chambered in 40-65 that has been rebarrelled. The 28-¾”, tapered octagonal barrel was made by Ron Long of Denver. The Blued finish is in very good condition as is the bore. Mounted in dovetails is a fixed front sight and an elevation-adjustable rear sight. The receiver has developed a patina and has a few small dings. The trigger is a single set trigger. The screws are in good shape but show signs of wear. On the walnut furniture there are small dents throughout, but the finish is still in fair shape. The curved buttplate has patina, but the German silver forend cap is still in good condition. The wood to metal finish is very good. The length of pull is 13-½”, the overall length is 45-½”, and the weight is 10.4 lbs. Our stock number is #A256.
