Description:
This Winchester Model 12 is engraved and has 13 gold inlays on the receiver. The vent rib barrel is engraved near the receiver and also at the end of the magazine and on the top of the magazine cap. The grip cap on the stock is even engraved and gold inlaid. This gun was engraved by Joseph Condon who lived in Las Vegas. He was known as "Engraver to the Stars". We received this information from a very knowledgable person who had watched him engrave guns for many people, including guns for Sammy Davis Jr and Elvis Presley, just to name a few. Condon was an extremely talented man and was also a stock maker, jeweler, and gifted magician. He passed away in 1993. The stock and forend are of 4X walnut with 28 lines per inch highly detailed checkering. This shotgun was purchased years ago at a charity in Las Vagas by the father of the current owner. This shotgun was manufactured in 1951 and is in excellent condition inside and out and is waiting for that serious Model 12 collector.
