Description:
A truly amazing Colt Detective Special in the harder to find .32 NP caliber. The serial number dates production to 1965 (My mistake in title, it is indeed a 1965 gun). The original factory box is in excellent condition and serial number matched to the gun. Also included is the "Handling The Handgun" booklet and Warranty Card. There is VERY faint turn line on the cylinder but the condition of the cylinder face and recoil shield indicate little or possibly no use since leaving the factory and indeed may be unfired. Overall condition rates at least 99%. Please see the pictures for condition details. The added bonus is what appear to be genuine period correct Colt Ivory grips. They are not original to the gun, as the serial number matching Walnut grips are also included and in like new condition. Please note the 3 shallow cracks on the backside of the right ivory grip panel.
