Description:
SOLD!!! Kolar 30" Gold Elite with carrier barrel and Kolar AAA tubes in Americase. The carrier barrel is factory manufactured and numbered to the receiver as is the 12-gauge barrel. This is a .740" bore gun. This Kolar also comes with release trigger parts. It was built new with a release trigger and the parts, removed by Kolar for the owner, are included with the gun, meaning the release parts would have to be reinstalled but are included.
Each gauge tube set comes with three chokes: SK, SK and IC. The included 12-ga chokes are: IC, CYL, CYL, LM, SK and SK. Both barrels are matte finish and the 12-ga barrel is factory ported. Actual measurements of tapered ribs are 11-8mm. The gun weighs 9.35 lbs with the 12-ga barrel. I weighed it with the 28-ga tubes in the carrier barrel at 9.30 lbs.
The wood is in very decent shape and shows a few light marks from normal use. It is not perfect, but it is not bad at all. The LOP with the trigger set midway is 14.5". The DAC is 1.5" and DAH is 2.25" with comb in lowest position. This is a right-hand stock with only one palm swell. Cast off is about 3/16" at the heel and about 3/8" at the toe. The forend wood on this gun is very slightly loose. I attempted to tighten it but without success. I feel certain it simply needs some Kolar lock washers under each screw, which would take up the slack and anchor the wood to the iron.
