Colt Model 1855 Side Hammer (Root) Pocket 28 Caliber Model 2 Black Powder Percussion Revolver. Serial Number 20704, 1859 manufacture. Firearm is in good overall condition with a small amount of the original finish remaining. The action is smooth, Cylinder lockup is weak but the hammer spring is very strong. Bore is dark but retains strong visible rifling. Barrel is marked: Colt with most of the remaining lettering gone. Barrel is 3.5" long.
