Description:
Original 16 inch octagon barrel with full length mag tube chambered in 30 WCF caliber. Crescent style butt plate. Rifle has the correct short forearm for a barrel of this length. Barrel has thinning original blue with wear to the edges of the octagons and light oxidation with several chatter marks on the left side of the barrel. Possibly from bouncing around or against something. Bore is a little rough, but may clean up a bit. Crisp action. Original sights include a screw in blade front and a ladder rear. Receiver is a brown/gray/silver coloration with some thinning original blue in the protected areas. Wood is good fitting and proud to the metal with the usual dings and handling mars you would expect to see on a handy little gun from 1909.
