Description:
Sold Browning Superposed DIANA Grade 1966 Vintage. Pre Salt era Belgian Made. Serial Number 55446 S6. This fine Diana Superposed is Double signed by FN Browning Master engraver J. Baerten. Configuration is a 12 gauge with 28 inch barrels choked Full and Full. It is a Long Tang Square knob shotgun. The wood and engraving are spectacular. Excellent original barrel blue with bright and shiny bores. Length of pull from the single selective trigger over the Original Browning Trap style pad is 14 1/2 inches. Drop at heel is 1 1/2 inches and drop at comb is 1 1/4 inches. This is truly an outstanding Diana grade. There are a few minor areas of varnish lifting on the fore end and near the top of the reeiver as was common on these. These Pre-salt era Long tang Diana's are getting very difficult to locate and this is a fine original example. Go to : ironmenarms . c o m for additional pictures
