Description:
REDUCED This is the nicest 1902 we have seen in many years -lots of original blue with very little starting to turn to the brownish color. Finish on wood is original and has perhaps had a bit added over the years, snd with the usual handling marks from careful use - and with a very good to excellent bore which is seldom seen - even has the original buttplate. Barrel is marked .22 short, long, or extra long which was only used as a marking for a few years by Winchester. This boy's rifle shows careful use (probably along with good instruction from an adult who knew how to care for a rifle) and stands ready for the next youngster to apply for the job. It also is an excellent investment as not many survived in great condition.
