Available for purchase is this sweetheart of an M1 Garand. It is an original WW2 manufactured rifle, with it's original WW2 1942 barrel, chambered in 30-06. Based on the serial number, the rifle was manufactured in August of 1942, the barrel is date stamped 9/42. Exactly as it should be. Bolt is 12SA, oprod is 6 SA with the relief cut. Trigger housing is 12-SA, has the milled trigger guard and the hammer is 7-SA. All parts have that greenish gray tint that says "I was not reparked!!". Stock has 2 serriffed P proof stamps and the boxed SA over F rebuild stamp as well. ME is 1.5!!! TE is between 3.5 and 4. This a Garand that went thru the 1947 upgrades, referring to the postwar rear sight assembly, and the relief cut on the original oprod. This is a fantastic collector rifle that would make a fine shooter as well. $35 shipping to the lower 48 and 3% surcharge for using a CC.
