The Colt New Frontier .22 Scout was made from 1970 to 1977 and then again from 1982 to 1986. The 6-shot Single Action revolvers were fitted with either a 4.4, 4 3/4, or 6 inch barrel, adjustable rear sight, built on the flat top frame, blue/color case-hardened finished, came with 2 cylinders (.22 LR & .22 Magnum) on those made from 1970 to 1977, and .22 LR cylinder only on those made from 1982 to 1986. Those made from 1982 to 1986 were also fitted with a cross bolt safety, located under the loading gate. This 1982 vintage New Frontier is unfired and is in excellent condition, retaining 99% of its original blue finishes and 99%+ of its original color case-hardened finish. The only wear is some assorted very minor handling marks and a very slight drag line on the cylinder. Comes with a Colt Box (no label on the end) and assorted paper-work.
