Description:
The Model 71 was the only firearm ever chambered in .348 Winchester Centerfire, as well as the only .34 Caliber gun ever produced in America. This was made by Winchester as a modified Browning 1886. This was made for American big game hunters, but ultimately failed becoming popular due to cheaper lever actions and the use of bolt action rifles becoming more popular. This was the frontrunner of modern short magnum loads, as it is considered the first of its kind. This M71 was manufactured in 1937, and is in great condition for its age. The wood and metal have experience, and show minor scratches and dings throughout. This is perfect for the rare gun collector.
