Browning Pigeon 20 gauge Straight Grip long tang - Special Order (not produced for the retail shelf in this configuration during this era) 2 barrel - 28” (F/F) - 26.5” (IC/IC) - Letter from Browning Historian - Case & Key
Ser. #34619V5 - 1965 Man. Date - Please see the letter for the details - gun has been shot and has an aftermarket rubber butt pad. The LOP to the and of the wood is 13 1/2” and to the end of the rubber pad 14 1/4”. DAC: 1 3/8” DAH: 1 3/4” - 6 lbs. 9 ozs. Weighed with 28” barrels - Letter attached in pics. Some details about the gun: there are handling marks along the stock - please take the time to study the pictures, I’ve disclosed the marks well in the pics. This is a collector piece that was shot, as I’d hope the new owner would also do. If it were to stay in my collection, I would add a Browning Buttpad and not touch the finish or the handling marks. Mechanically perfect.
