Description:
For sale is a classic Colt 1903 .32 cal automatic . This was the high watermark of gun making , all machined parts made by true craftsman , no stampings and plastic like today .Gun has perfect bore and 95% bright blue .Serial # 363,44x , which puts it at 1920 production . This is a gun someone would own during the Prohibition period and up through WW2 . It is shown in movies of the 1920's , 30's and 40's or a series like Boardwalk Empire , Peaky Blinders, etc.There is some blue loss at muzzle end , right side of slide on the flat , [ see pictures ] It looks like the blue did not take or something removed blue as the metal is smooth and fine , no hint of pitting . There is also a little bit of freckling above the right grip panel , other wise the gun is in excellent shape and very little fired . Looks as never carried in a holster , little or no edge wear or muzzle wear besides what has been stated .Grip straps have all their bright blue , grips panels are excellent . Gun has early full blue, unmarked colt magazine, real colt clip in excellent condition . Must ship to FFL or C&R is okay . No shipments to California or NYC .
