Falling block breechloading action converted to metallic cartridge. Iron mounts. Walnut forend and buttstock bearing the "DFC" cartouche in the middle of the buttstock on the leftside. The barrel showing a gunmetal gray mixing with a smooth brown patina. The receiver, lock and hammer has fading case colors mixing with gray giving a pleasing overall look.
