Here we present a “Thames Arms Co.” Top-Break Double Action .32 S&W Revolver, made circa 1900. This revolver carried on with the popular Smith & Wesson top-break, double action revolver design, complete with the automatic ejector. With its small size and 6-shot capacity of .32 S&W, it would have been a very popular concealed defense weapon for almost anyone in the early 20th Century!
The overall condition is very good. The original nickel finish is about 95% with strong case colors on the hammer and trigger. The markings are clear. The hard rubber grips are in fair shape, with a large portion of the right panel lacking. The bore is sharp and clean. The action is functional, though the cylinder does not revolve. This is likely to do with the hand.
