Here we present an “Iver Johnson Arms & Cycle Works” Top-Break Double Action Revolver in .32 S&W, made circa 1900 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.
The overall condition is fine. The original nickel finish is about 85%. The markings are clear. The original hard rubber grips bear an owl’s face on either side and are in great condition. The bore is sharp and clean. The action is excellent!
