SOLD PENDING FUNDS Offered for sale is a Civilian Model 1909 Colt New Service Revolver chambered in .45 Colt. This massive revolver was manufactured in 1911. The blued finish is faded overall; see photos to judge the condition. The rampant Colt logo is visible on the left side of the frame. The bore is excellent with strong rifling. The gun functions well. The seven-pound trigger pull is smooth. The previous owner stated a Ranger carried the gun for 35 years on the Biltmore estate and dairy farms in North Carolina; there is no documentation of this interesting story. Payment is by postal money order or cashiers check. Will ship only to a FFL or C&R. Buyer pays actual shipping and insurance.
