Description:
Confederate or Cowboy, line rider Tin Drum Canteen A big 10" by 3" canteen  very handsome 1800s to 1890s era tin drum canteen as carried by lone riders, miners, cowboys, line riders, soldiers and stage coach drivers. All tin construction... two strap brackets intact... tin plug type spout.  These were hand made by talented tinsmiths, so each is somewhat unique. This canteen is in near perfect condition. I offer this as a collectable and have not checked it for leaks, but it looks really good. (sold as is) Nice early piece appropriate to display with early western and mining relic collectibles. These were alway a necessity.
