This Wincester M-70 - .270 Cal, Ser No. 269XXX - 1954, 24 inch round barrel. w/bluing of about 98% including the Weaver K - 3 scope w/very clear lenses and crosshairs -- it Scopes as new ! It is st - up on a Buehler mount w/the anglular cartridge relief
angle - too accomodate impeeding spent cartridges. Beautiful set-up.
The stock is equally nice w/no scrapes, dings or nics & is scratchfree. It has a higloss reddish walnut stain which
is very attractive for this set-up. This any have been a special order from Winchester. I've only seen this hi-gloss finnish
a few other times. I would rate the Wood stock at about 98%.
The action is smoothe and the bore isa mirror w/a nice twist.
