Really a neat gun guys and if you are looking at it you know how rare they are. First model 1894 are super rare
This gun has some cool patina and has matching wood (stock and tang numbers match) It has some period small carving in it...who knows was it for successful hunts or Indians who knows?
Bore is super nice basically shiny and nice.Round barrel 38-55 are super rare to find this gun.
Wood fit is perfect around tang and foreend. Looks like it was cleaned some at the wrist area but not sanded.
Markings look good on barrel.
