Description:
This is a super nice carbine. It retains a very high percentage of the original blue finish. Polishing marks are visible on the receiver. Case color remains on the lever and hammer. As you will see in the pictures, it comes with a rare button magazine. Wood to metal fit is excellent. It fits perfectly and is in excellent condition as well. Action is perfect. Works exactly as it should. All markings are complete, easy to see, and original. Bore in the 20" barrel is bright and shiny, shows little use, and will rate a very easy nine on a one to ten scale. This Winchester 1892, button mag, 38/40 carbine is good enough to fit in any collection. It will make a fine addition to yours. Year of manufacture is 1908. It qualifies as a curio & relic. American Arms & Antiques item #2005. I guarantee this Winchester Model 1892 38/40 to be 100% original. It does come with a three day look.
