All 10/22 rifles are sleek, perfectly balanced, rugged and superbly
accurate, continuing to perform under heavy use. Ideally suited for
informal target shooting, plinking, small game hunting and action-shooting
events, Ruger's 10/22 Carbine has a proven design and legendary
reliability. The hammer-forged steel barrel uses a V-block system to lock
it into the machined A380 aluminum alloy receiver. The detachable rotary
magazine is flush mounted with an extended magazine release. It has a
positive, push button, cross-bolt manual safety and a heat-stabilized,
glass-filled polymer trigger housing assembly. Standard models have a blade
gold bead front sight and a folding adjustable rear sight. Other options
include a fiber optic front or the addition of a LaserMax laser. A
combination scope base adapter for both weaver-style and 22 tip-off scope
mounts is included.
