Smith Corona Model 1903A3 WWII issue serial number 48069XX Placing date of manufacture 09/1943. Overall condition is very good with 100% of the original factory finish toned to a very nice even dark green patina. The bore is very near perfect with a faint ring 3 inches from the muzzle caused by lint in the bore many years sitting in the closet! I have test fired this rifle and found it dead accurate at 100 yards. O.G. found on left cheek of stock indicates rebuild or storage at Ogden Utah Arsenal. Stock has crack at tang.
