Description:
AH Fox Sterlingworth 16 gauge. This lite small gauge weighs a trim 6lbs, 2 ozs with a 14" LOP, 1.5" DAC and original 2 1/2" chambers. ( the 2 1/2" RST lite shells work great in older guns with original chambers) Barrels measure 27 5/8"; unknown if it is a factory anomaly or whether they were trimmed 3/8". Choked M/F. Original brass sighting bead and extractors. All numbers match. Original bluing still solid but showing some slight surface freckling. Stock was refinished at some point in the past and the checkering refreshed. Frame is an even patina consistent with age. Almost perfect shiny bores, and lock up is tight. All serial numbers match.This would make a great grouse or bunny gun, especially in tight quarters. Three day non-firing, non-disassembly inspection runs from receipt by FFL.
