Description:
1978 Production (SN#V147XX). Slightly used collector grade Colt Python in beautifully factory polished Royal Blue finished with 6” vented-rib barrel and 357 Magnum. The blued finish of this revolver is very deep and rich. There are random/intermittent light handling marks on the gun as shown in our photos. Since they are very light, you may or may not see them. We note their locations on the left side of the barrel at the muzzle and underside of lug. Rubber grips are on the revolver at this time. Original wood grips may be available. Overall in excellent condition.
The lockup is perfectly tight, the timing is good and the bore shiny and crisp with no visible wear on the inside frame face. This likely indicates that the revolver was likely barely fired! For all you who are Python fans, this is one of a kind, hard to come by Python.
