Description:
8mm Mauser; 75% blue, good bore, fair stock, 23.5'' barrel, Original blue finish, mounted in a laminated wood stock and walnut handguard. Non-matching stock, handguard and magazine follower, remainder of numbered parts are matching. The top of the receiver ring is stamped with the maker code "dot" and date "1943". Eagle/63 proofed, eagle/swaz military acceptance marked on the left side of the barrel and receiver ring. Missing the trigger guard lock screws. Reproduction cleaning rod. Finish wear on the barrel and bands, trigger guard. The stock has old cracks on both sides of the wrist running back from the rear of the trigger guard. Mehcanically fine. The bore has shine and strong rifling with a tight muzzle, showing some areas of light pitting. No import marks, the stock is not duffle cut.
