On the right side of the rec'r is engraved "Freedom Is Never Free", "Saluting America's Soldiers Defending Freedom" and "American Freedom Tribute". In between are various battle scenes from WW2, Korea and Viet Nam. Polished and highlighted with gold. The original Thompson muzzle break is also gold plated, as is the rear sight base. On the top of the rec'r is lots of scroll engraving that is also gold plated, along with the Armed Forces Commemorative Society seal. On the left side of the rec'r is a scroll with "Lest We Forget". More battle scenes and more scroll work featuring "Saluting America's Soldiers Defending Freedom", and "Saluting America's Armed Forces". Stock, and grip screws also gold plated as is the trigger and cocking knob.. Barrel and buttplate are a deep blue. Note that this rifle comes with the original nickel plated 30 rnd stick mag, plus 3 mag pouches that hold 8 30 rnd mags each. So 24 additional used 30 rnd mags, various conditions and manufacturors. Mostly ww2 mags. These mags can only be transferred if the rifle is sold to an out of state customer. There are a couple of scuffs on the buttstock that are visible in the pic showing the right side of the buttstock. There is no display case or box. In order to protect your investment, all long guns over $500 must be shipped in a hard case. Minimum shipping at this level is $55 and includes the hard case. Shipping cost could increase depending on value or weight of the firearm. For long guns less than $500, we still recommend the purchase of a hard case, again to protect your investment.
