For Sale: Jonathan Browning Black Powder Mountain Rifle in .50 caliber. These rifles were manufactured between 1977-1981 by a small Utah based company under contract to Browning. These rifles were built with the same quality component parts one cold find only on custom black powder rifles. The 30" long 1" diameter octagonal barrels had a 1-66 twist and were built by Green River Rifle Barrel Company. These percussion ignition rifles were offered in .45 (Deer), .50 (Elk), and .54 (Moose)calibers and featured single set triggers (push to set, pull to fire). The stock is American Black Walnut with Brass furniture. This rifle is 99% original condition with its' original box with manual. A great rifle to hunt with and an outstanding addition to any collection.
