Single Action Army (SAA), 3rd Generation Custom shop Horse Pistol Special Edition, genuine ivory grips, 45LC, 7½” barrel. P1870ECS, NIB. Only 250 of these were made. 180 of the 250 had unfluted cylinders. Rare in that this is one of the few that were fluted (70). The box identifies this as 247 of the 250. The grips are a custom factory option set of smooth ivory which have perfect fit to the grip straps. The upper portions have gold colored Colt logo medallions. Colt Serpentine on top of backstrap. The panels are free of any notable damages. Grain is striking.
Mint, new, unfired in factory box with factory paperwork and Factory display case.

Year of Manufacture: Ca. 1983
Markings: The left side of the barrel is marked “COLT SINGLE ACTION ARMY .45”. The top of the barrel is marked “COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG. CO. HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.”. The left side of the frame is marked “Pat. Sept. 19, 1871 / July 2,72 Jan. 19,75” and with the “Rampant Colt” logo. The left front of the trigger guard is marked with a “VP” in a triangle and at the rear with “K”. I see no flaws.
