The Colt Police Positive Special 3rd Issue was made from 1947 to 1976. This 1965 vintage Colt Police Positive Special is fitted with a 4 inch barrel, checkered walnut grips, is blue finished, and chambered in .32 Colt N.P.. It is in new/unfired condition, retaining 99%+ of its original blue finish, with a barely visible drag line on the cylinder. The grips look as new with only a couple of very minor handling marks. The bad news, one of its past owners had his or her social security number scratched on the back-strap. Comes with its original, numbered to the gun box, and paper-work.
