Description:
Original era manufacture. Matching numbers blade to scabbard of 3835 and maker coded aSW (Horster) and dated 43. Pleasing mix of blue and steel patina to the metal surfaces. Wooden handle is nice but shows some wear. Scabbard body but it is dent free. The blade is unsharpened with lots of original blue remaining and retains a sharp point. Original leather frog is in good condition. Nice looking wartime collectable.
