Sold...Greg...A fine original WW2 U.S. Model M1 Combat helmet with Invasion netting, original cork base OD paint and Unit marked. The shell is a front seam swivel bale that was manufactured from October 1943 to November 1944. The shell is unit marked with an emblem in red paint. The regimental marking resembles a triangle or delta sign or could possibly be an "A". It has its original sewn on khaki chin strap and the original Westinghouse liner.
