Description:
Original era manufacture. Matching numbers blade to scabbard of 2626 and maker coded JWH and dated 1943. Pleasing mix of blue and steel patina to the metal surfaces. Wooden handle is nice but shows some wear. Scabbard body is dent free but has light pitting and has been cleaned long ago. The blade is unsharpened with a fair amount of original blue remaining and retains a sharp point. There are a few small nicks or dings on the blade. Nice looking wartime collectable.
