Here we present an Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Hammerless Double Action Revolver in .32 S&W. This 5-shot revolver was made circa 1900 in Fitchburg, Massachusetts. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.
Condition of this revolver is fair. Traces of the original blue and nickel finishes remain. The markings are legible. The original hard rubber grips are intact and show some wear and repair. There is a small chip out of the bottom of the right grip. The bore is clean and sharp. The action on this revolver is functioning. Cylinder rides up when opened.
