The Anschutz Super Match Model 1913 is considered one of the finest production rimfire barreled actions made. The Anschutz name has been synonymous with top quality and extremely accurate .22 rifles since the early 1900's. The Super Match 1913 is a match-conditioned 54 based action with a heavy profiled factory Anschutz barrel grooved at the muzzle for adjustable iron sights or a slip-on harmonic tuner. The bolt was hand fit and serial numbered to the action at Anschutz, and has an oversized knob for easy operation. The last 3 digits of the serial number are stamped into the upper bolt face "228". The trigger on this benchrest rifle is a top quality, fully adjustable Anschutz unit. The trigger is quite frankly amazing in our opinion. It is currently set as a two-stage trigger that is super light and breaks like glass at the second stage. This benchrest custom rifle is glass bedded in an attractive American Walnut stock with a contrasting wooden buttplate. The entire length of the barrel is free-floated from the receiver forward. The forearm is flat and wide on this custom stock, and the buttstock is shaved flat on the bottom as well. The trigger guard is a machined aluminum unit. This custom Anschutz benchrest rifle has been very lightly used. The previous owner/builder switched to semi-auto rimfire competition shortly after building this rifle. If you have been looking for a ready made benchrest rifle that is top quality and super accurate, here is your chance. Priced substantially below what this rifle would cost someone to recreate.
