this is a Model 1933 small ring short action Mexican mauser with an original Mauser step contour barrel. Serial number 24760, chambered for the 7x57 Mauser. Suggest HAVE IT CHECKED FOR HEADSPACE. The barrel is turned on tight, but have no way to check headspace> the bore is like new bright and shiny with strong rifling. the barrel is 23" long diameter at the muzzle is .690".
