For Best Results Always Call First.This Colt was produced in 1970. The Pistol's serial number is 334930-C. This is a standard government model with the exception of having the rare factory nickel finish. This Colt also has a factory letter stating that it was shipped to Thomas Hereford Company, Prestonsburg Kentucky, July 1 1970. Only 2% of Pre Series "70's" were ever nickel finished. This Colt is one of the last of the "C" marked serial numbered pistols before the Series "70" pistols started. This Colt is fitted with rarely seen bone grips. These grips were installed by the owner. This pistol shows some handling and being fired. There is some light wear to the barrel finish where the slide moves back and forth. The high polished sides of the frame and slide is vivid and mirror bright. This high polish finish would rate a 98% overall condition. The satin finish on the top of the slide and bottom of the frame would have the same rating if not slightly higher. The magazine is the correct original magazine for this pistol. The box is a high quality reproduction box with the correct end label and added correct style Nickel Finish tag. This is a very difficult finish to find in the pre Series "70" Colts. The pistol is mirror bright showing little use. This Colt would make a stunning addition to any Colt collection! Search for hlvfineguns on google.
