Description:

Antique FOREHAND & WADSWORTH Hammerless Revolver

Unique Top Break Release Design

Here we present an antique Forehand & Wadsworth Hammerless Top Break Double Action Revolver in .32 Smith & Wesson. This 6 shot revolver was manufactured in the late 19th century. Forehand & Wadsworth was a US firearms manufacturing company based in Worcester, Massachusetts that was formed in 1871 by Sullivan Forehand and Henry C. Wadsworth after the death of their father-in-law, Ethan Allen of Ethan Allen & Company.

The top break release is large and located where the hammer would normally be if exposed. The rear sight is also built into this.

The condition of this revolver is fine. The original nickel finish is about 95%. The markings are clear and legible. The right grip is the original hard rubber with the Forehand & Wadsworth emblem.  It is missing a small piece at the bottom.  The left grip is a wooden replacement. The bore is good and sharp.  The action on this revolver is excellent.

Own the original! This is a legitimate antique and not a reproduction.

Barrel is 3 1/4 inches.

Caliber: .32 S&W

Overall condition as seen in photos.
