Great Piece with Trademark Owl Head Grips
Here we present an Iver Johnson Safety Automatic Double Action 5 Shot Revolver in .32 S&W, made in the early 20th century. Iver Johnson & Martin Bye both cut their teeth with Ethan Allen, then started their own company in 1871. The company continued to operate until 1993. This revolver was designed to be small and concealable for self-defense in the years leading up to the Roaring Twenties.
The overall condition is very fine. The original nickel plate is 85%, with 90% original blue on the trigger guard. Case colors are vibrant. The markings are very clear and legible. The original hard rubber handles are in good shape and show little wear. The bore is sharp and bright. The action on this revolver is in great working condition. A fantastic little revolver!
