Right side of frame stamped " UNITED STATES PROPERTY M1911 A1 U.S. ARMY". Left side of slide is stamped "REMINGTON RAND INC. SYRACUSE, N.Y. U.S.A.". Stamp below slide stop is "FJA". Note that no caliber is stamped on barrel or firearm, but believed to be .45 ACP.
