Beautiful Factory Engraved Cased Colt 3rd Model Paterson Revolver. Serial Number 607. Pictured in The Book of Colt Engraving by R.L. Wilson on Page 13 of Volume 1. This gun is in .34 caliber with a 5 ½” barrel. It’s an extreme rarity in Colt Patersons to have a factory engraved one. In the 60 or so Patersons we have owned and sold over the years, this is the first factory engraved Paterson we have owned. This is a nice sharp gun with lots of the original finish remaining. This gun has 70% of the original finish remaining. Cylinder scene is excellent. Grips still have around 60% of their original varnish. This gun comes with an extra original cylinder that is unnumbered, original mold, original loading tool, reproduction capper and original charger. Case is original as well. This gun has been on display at the Frazier History Museum in Louisville, Kentucky until recently. Very fine all original gun in a beautiful set. Surely to make the centerpiece of a very fine collection!
