This was the last year of production of the g41 before they were turned fully over to G43 production. To our knowledge, the highest serial number duv 43 G41 known is around 6500h, or about 8,000 serial numbers after this one, making it a very late production. This is why it has no scope rails and has some late features like the un-numbered muzzle gland (which is correct, per Weaver's book). It is serial numbered 8411 G throughout. There are perfect Waffenampts in the stock. This is quite possibly the nicest G41 in private hands. The bore looks pristine and all numbers match. The sight cover and cleaning rod are intact. The mag is also numbered to the gun. There are NO import marks. There are NO duffle cuts. This is a very attractive rifle with the original and matching blonde laminate stock. All parts on this rifle are matching, inside and out. The matching parts include: receiver, bolt carrier, bolt housing, muzzle gas cap(un-numbered), front sight assembly, magazine, trigger floor plate, stock, bolt body, extractor, firing pin housing and both locking lugs - as is all correct. Please note, the extractor and both locking lugs are numbered to the rifle (see pictures), but the numbers are VERY faint and you will need to look at them in good lighting to be able to see them. The bore is in very good shape with very distinct lands and grooves. The trigger functions are all normal, and safety is fully operable. The gas system assembly is all complete in in-tact.
