Smith & Wesson Post War Transitional 38/44 Heavy Outdoorsman; SN S69943; made 1948; converted at factory to .357 cal. with 4½ inch pre war registered magnum barrel and pre war registered magnum frame; many police departments and other law enforcement agencies requested .357 magnums, but Smith & Wesson was converting over to new models and altered these upon request by modifying Outdoorsmen; frame is a pre war short action frame modified at factory to accept post war Long action hammer and trigger; this gun was returned to factory numerous times and shoots good; FFL/C&R required for shipping; from my own personal collection; All items shipped fully insured Priority Mail- -Hand guns $30 --Long guns $45-- Spurs $30-- Knives, Swords & Sabers $30—Grips $20; return policy: three days inspection from the date the item is received; full refund of shipping both ways ONLY IF THE ITEM IS MISREPRESENTED.
