Colt Police Positive Wells Fargo Marked .38 special caliber revolver. Wells Fargo Marked Colt Police Positive made in 1912 .38 caliber with 4” barrel. Gun has mostly a smooth patina finish with original blue in protected areas. Grips are very good. This gun is marked on the butt with “W.F & Co”. which is the Wells Fargo marking. This gun also comes with factory letter confirming this marking and detailing that this gun was shipped to Wells Fargo in New York in a shipment of 60 guns. Grips are excellent. Nice gun that probably was carried and that’s why there is a lack of finish, but it is an authentic Wells Fargo marked gun. Most of the guns and other Wells Fargo marked items are spurious copies. This gun is guaranteed 100% original and comes with a Factory letter confirming all features.
